Lemonade Sports LLC ("Lemonade," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Lemonade Baseball Lineups mobile application (the "App") and the websites at lemonadesports.com and lemonadebaseball.com (the "Website"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.
We built Lemonade with a simple principle: your data is yours. We don't sell it, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't monetize your coaching decisions.

## Information We Collect
### Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- **Email address** — used for authentication, account recovery, and service communications
- **Username** — a display name you choose within the App
- **Phone number** — optionally provided in your profile settings; may be used for service communications and marketing
- **Profile photo** — optionally uploaded in your profile settings
- **Authentication credentials** — managed securely through our authentication provider
### User-Generated Content
When you use the App, you create and store:
- **Team information** — team names, team logos, season, year, league rules, game settings
- **Player information** — player names, jersey numbers, grade in school, skill ratings, position assignments, availability, attendance and expected attendance
- **Lineup data** — generated lineups, batting orders, field positions, fair-play history
- **Game information** — game dates, times, and locations
This content is stored in a secure cloud database and is associated with your account. We do not access, review, or use your roster or lineup data for any purpose other than providing the App's functionality to you.
### Subscription and Purchase Information
When you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect:
- **Purchase history** — subscription tier, purchase date, expiration date, and transaction identifiers
- **Payment processing** is handled entirely by Apple (for App Store purchases) or our third-party payment processor (for web purchases). We never receive or store your credit card number, bank account details, or other payment instruments.
Subscription entitlements are managed through a third-party subscription management service, which syncs purchase status across platforms. This service receives a pseudonymous user identifier and purchase receipt data.
### Analytics and Diagnostics
We use third-party analytics and crash reporting services to collect:
- **App usage data** — screen views, session duration, feature engagement (collected in aggregate)
- **Crash and performance data** — crash logs, error reports, device model, operating system version
This data helps us identify bugs, improve performance, and understand which features are most useful. Analytics data is not linked to your roster or lineup content.
### Website Information
When you visit our Website, we may collect:
- **Cookies and similar technologies** — our Website uses cookies and tracking pixels set by us and by third-party services. These include:
- **Analytics cookies** — to measure website traffic, page views, and visitor behavior in aggregate
- **Functional cookies** — for CRM, form handling, and email marketing
- **Payment cookies** — for payment processing on the Subscribe page
- You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect website functionality, particularly form submissions and payment processing.
- **Form submissions** — if you contact us, join the waitlist, or submit feedback, we store your name, email, and message content in our customer relationship management system for customer support, marketing, and service communications
- **Embedded content** — our Website may include embedded content (videos, social media links) from third-party services that may collect data independently

We **do not** use your information to:
- Display advertisements within the App
- Build advertising profiles for third parties
- Sell or rent your data to third parties

- Make automated decisions that affect you

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

## Marketing and Remarketing
We may use your email address or phone number to send you product updates, seasonal tips, and promotional offers related to Lemonade. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out of SMS communications by replying STOP. You may opt out at any time, and we will honor your request within 10 business days.
We may also share hashed (pseudonymized) email addresses or phone numbers with advertising platforms to show you Lemonade-related promotions on those platforms. This is commonly known as "Custom Audiences" or "Customer Match." When we do this:
- Only a hashed version of your email or phone number is shared — the platform cannot reverse it to read your actual contact information
- The data is used solely to reach you with Lemonade promotions — not to build a profile about you for other advertisers
- Your roster data, lineup data, player information, and coaching decisions are never shared with any advertising platform, under any circumstances
- You may opt out of this use by emailing jaymathes@lemonadesports.com with the subject line "Opt Out of Remarketing"
We will never display advertisements from third parties within the App. The App is and will remain ad-free.

## Data Retention and Deletion
Active accounts: We retain your data for as long as your account is active and you continue to use the App.
Account deletion: You may delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the App. Once initiated, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Deleted data includes your account information, all team and player data, lineup history, and fair-play records. Deletion is processed within 90 days of your request.
Reactivating your account: If you create a new account after your data has been deleted, it will start fresh with no prior teams, rosters, lineups, or fair-play history.
Subscription data: Purchase transaction records may be retained as required for financial reporting, tax compliance, or dispute resolution, even after account deletion.
Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized analytics data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely.

## Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
- Authentication is managed through our authentication provider with secure token handling
- Database access is controlled through security rules that restrict each user to their own data

## Children's Privacy
Lemonade is designed for use by coaches and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Player names and skill ratings entered by coaches are considered user-generated content created by the coach, not information collected from the players themselves.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at jaymathes@lemonadesports.com and we will promptly delete it.

**California residents:** Under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. We may share hashed email addresses or phone numbers with advertising platforms for remarketing purposes as described in the Marketing and Remarketing section above, which may constitute "sharing" under the CPRA. **EU/EEA residents:** Under GDPR, the legal basis for our data processing is (a) performance of a contract (providing the App), (b) legitimate interest (improving the App, fixing bugs, and direct marketing about our own products), and (c) your consent (where applicable, including remarketing on third-party platforms). You may withdraw consent at any time. You may contact us to exercise your rights under GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We do not combine Website form submissions with your in-app roster or lineup data.
